I've watched these for a while and I started some practices of my own, just like this. It is a pretty awesome practice to understand lighting and colors. Amazing job

This is really good work, I especially like the crystal and purple translucent spheres and the shadows cast when the light passes though them. 

I've just started teaching myself 3D modelling, if I may ask, what software do you use?
