how are u doing this, that you shoot at the right moment??
doesn't it took ages to get the right moment?? XDD
when i try to photograph a waterdrop i always fail it and there's no waterdrop on the picXDDD

first of all thanks for the comment
well, to capture "the right moment" is almost impossible on this situation. Be prepared to have a lot of fail photos. hihi
I set my camera to take 10 photos in a row, it doesn't let me ask me for more, and just fire it away.
It takes a bit of time since I don't have a external flash trigger and so it fires when my camera internal flash fires, which has a long refresh time.
This are my first attempts at this kind of photography but to give you an example: yesterday I spent the whole day shooting... In about 350 shots... 65 made my good photos folder and about 100 were delete right on sight.

was this in a purple container or something?
its amazing.
my only tip is that using flash with water is always good for these kind of shots.

Hi
No, I used a little water tank. The purple comes from a sheet of paper on the back.
I used an external flash to illuminate the sheet and reflect the colour to the water and also illuminate it.
