I hear ya. I have cabin fever something fierce... I've been watching a lot of tv and movies this winter, mainly from being wiped out from work and the kids and the cold and snow... I need to get motivated!!!!!

Did you recognize the equation-scribbling, white-haired lady in the church that Ben was talking to?? I did right away... Could she be Daniel Faraday's mother as well?

I watch too many shows...
So far I habitually watch SNL, 24, Fringe, American Idol, Chuck, The Office, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Smallville, The Clone Wars, Eric and Tim; and the Simpsons and Pushing Daisies off and on... There are a few my wife watches that I steer the F clear of... But she watches most of the stuff I watch, so it evens out...

What? No Galactica? I am a LOST junkie... I don't think that Mrs. Hawking (the lady in the church) is Daniel's mother - that seems more like a red herring. I think there will be some kind of surprise about who that is... someone else's mother perhaps? Did you notice that Dr. Marvin Candle had a baby on the island <-- which isn't supposed to happen?

What do you think of the Clone Wars?

OH! Actually I JUST started watching Battlestar... I borrowed the first two seasons from my bro-in-law... I had them sitting at home for months because i was hesitant to watch them ---- the shows on SCI-FI are always so cheesy and of low production value... But, a few people at work were clamoring over it, so i decided to finally give it a watch over christmas vacation. I was totally blown away... Great special FX, solid storylines, great characters... I am DVRing the new season, but i have seasons 1- 4 to watch before i start on the new one...

Yeah, Candle did have a baby!!! What the? Maybe it was brought to the island after it was born?? The thing that REALLY bugs me about that show is the lack of persistance in the characters asking and getting answers about the smoke monster. If I was on that island and had me an "Other" captured, I wouldnt stop til i found out everything about Smokie... What do you think it is?? Some bioelectrical security entity? It boggles my mind!!! I NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!

I actually love the Clone Wars CG-toon. I was really hesitant about it at first, because I thought that movie that came out last summer was terrible... I was so bored watching it... But the half hours shows have some better writers than the movie did, and I love seeing the characters reimagined in this new style... I hate those nemoidians, but they actually make them look cool... The show's a little bit dark, which I like... I love all the creature designs, too... Very unique! It would be a lot better if Jar Jar was completely removed from the series, that is one of my only complaints... I think that character is such a waste of space. Another complaint is that they need to branch out to more characters instead of Anakin and Obi Wan all the time in these rescue mission scenarios... Need more mini-epic battles with some other Jedi generals... Not sure about Ahsoka.. I bet she will be killed at the series' end... How are you liking the show so far??
