Don't know a thing about this Giant, but he sure looks like a colored version of Mego's Micronauts Baron Karza...with a different head. He's also the tiniest of my giants series at around 10m tall.[link]

Looks great! This is one of the classic Go Nagai robots, the head of this guy is actually the transformed form of his "pilot", the cyborg son of the robot's creator; the rest of the bodyparts join him through some sort of magnetic force. Don't know if you guys in the US got him back in the day, but here in latin america it was pretty famous, it was called "El Vengador" (The Avenger) here.

Most of these awesome Go Nagai shows never made it here in the mainstream. If there wasn't a line of toys called Shogun Warriors, I would have never heard of ANY of those.

Yeah, that's strange isn't? is like a whole sub-genre of vintage geek culture was compressed in a single toyline.
In my country it happen something similar with the Voltron series, I barely even saw any of it when I was a kid but it seems it was huge in other parts of the world.
