Nicely done! When I was a kid, we kept our eyes open for crafts kids could do, so when we hosted events at our church, my mother and sisters and I could babysit all the kids and occupy them with crafts all day. It was something they looked forward to because we usually had something exceptional, plus other low-key things.
My point: I have some experience making crafts badly, though trying not to, so I can really appreciate when someone does a good job on theirs. Fun work!

Aww thanks.
Glad you like it.
This one was pretty tedious too. Lots of very small pieces were cut and sewn together. The bamboo I did was tedious too. Each one took me 3 to 4 days to make...spending about 2 to 3 hours each day on them.
I am about to post the bamboo one right now.
Thanks again for the comment!

You're welcome, and yes -- the bamboo was excellent as well! Charlie Chaplin liked to say, "Art is the concealment of effort" and I agree. You make it look incredibly easy, which is how I knew it must be tedious and tough, heh. I have a tough time envisioning art in a way that would guide me accurately. I used to try to make my own costumes and be creative about it, but people rarely knew what I was trying to be and the costumes were fragile, to put it charitably.

Thank you.
Well I had a pattern to go off of so it was not all my own doing. One day I will make my own patterns but I am just starting out. I have only made three felt things so far.
Doing costumes is really hard though. You have to fit it to your body. It is harder to fit something to yourself than someone else.

Yeah that would be more difficult. You have to have more fabric which could be expensive as well.
I am fortunate I have a friend now who is a seamstress and she will be making my costumes for belly dancing, cosplaying, and perhaps even Halloween and clothes I want lol.
