My parents gave me a week long summer course graphics as a graduation gift ((:
The first two days we learned - or in my case re-learned - the etch technique. (I made a few so I'll post those later) In the second half of the course was dedicated to reduction woodcut from the artist that sorta set the woodcut comic in motion! So that was awesome! (he's called Siemen Dijkstra, google him please! )

You may remember that I made a woodcut comic, but that's only done in black and white. I cut one layer, printed it and that's it. Reduction woodcut basically means cutting away a bit, printing, cutting away some more, printing on the same page with a different colour, and repeat until there's pretty much nothing left to cut away. Mine is made up off eight layers.
