Description
This was base solely on Fenghzu's tutorials on Markers. Even some of the design is based on the tutorial. Unfortunately the tutorials were on his old site, and he's updated his website to a new design which does not have the old tutorial on it, yet I think.the piece is really off in perspective though I still like it. It's a first try that didn't turn out to bad.
Markers, gouache for highlights, white pencils for light gradients.

Nicely done! The tank looks metallic with your white and cool gray colors.... nice effect.

The only thing that I don't care for is that the rear turrets would be able to elevate (up-down), but not traverse (left-right)... you could fix that by making the surrounding armor either a pivoting cylinder, or break the front with a traversing panel.
Past that, and the perspective (which honestly looked pretty good, till you mentioned it... now I see you haven't really got a third VP, even though your horizon line is off the image area. Bad! Bad Dan!!), I think the design is pretty sweet!
I gotta watch the Feng Zhu Gnomon DVD that my studio picked up for Christmas.

This really wantsm to make me look for that tutorial, but I'm not gifted like yourself.
Can't see anything wrong with the perspective myself, except for maybe the machine-gun turrets. They seem to be too visible.
haha, ok, I just noticed the part of the tracks on the bottom right of the picture where the perspective is kinda funky too. Hmm, but it could just be the angle of the lines creating an optical illusion.
Don't know how much of the design is yours, but I like it, a lot. Whicked tank action with an Indiana Jones (don't know which onbe had the tank) feel to it.

I beleive I've read that tutorial, but there were so many lines everywhere I was too intimidated to try learning. I may do it some day.
Aside from the few errors in perspective, it still feels like it fits nicely together. Well done

Hey man for a first try it look fucking great. What marker did you use, and what shade of gray?
I always get to much saturation and heavy color when i use marker, so I always try it on sketches and nothing else.

start with 10% be as sloppy as you want to be, go over it with ink to finalize the lines, then go over it again with 10% then 30% then 50%
using prismacolor markers cool greys.

Jeez that\'s great, could be one of Feng\'s...the perspective error is not too obvious, since the overall look of the design is just great! I wouldn\'t have the patience for that much details
