More Fanart from Ghost in the shell but this Machine only appears in the Stand alone complex series.This is a request done for my Little brother lewis it was suppose to be a birthday gift but I'm about like over 10 days late to call it a B-day gift.
I love this Tank cause his voice is very cute like, when I first heard his voice in the PS2 game I was laughing n awwing to the cute voice this AI controlled tank has, yes this tank can think, talk and move on its own with out a pilot.
I focused more on the shading of this sketch and it turned out extreamly well, I had to borrow a picture of tachikoma which is on the back of the Stand alone complex volume 1 poster, now I know how to draw him and know what each part of his body can do I should not have a problem drawing him in future, this image took me a long time to draw but if you get the Ghost in the shell Stand Alone Complex series on DVD you will see tachikoma in half of the scenes and he has such a cute voice also he is alot of fun to cause he moves like a little kid lmfao
Expect more Tachikoma pictures in future.

Tachikomas actually appeared in the manga too, though they were called Fuchikomas. Their mentality was pretty much the same...one of the few characters to carry their over-the-top personality (however random) from the books to the movie or show. Batou had his moments, but the Tachikomas had the least lost in translation, I think.
But that's just me giving useless background info. This is great work, as perfect as the medium allows, methinks. Only critique I can give is that the legs look a bit inconsistant, but that might be the angle, or the legs are not the same on the actual tachikoma. I haven't seen one in a while...

When I saw a picture of tachikoma his leg was like that when I saw the image probaly did a mistake or maybe its different to the old version, I haven't seen the manga of the show yet but I would like to see em.

It was at first but now I know what part of his body to go so I won't have much of a problem with him also I know how this tank moves to it moves by walking or skating.
it will be a bit difficult to draw at first but the most important thing is to know its features n where its properly placed to.
