Oh, this is indeed lovely! I simply love the play on light and shadows in this. In a way, it reminds of a one of those old-fashioned, glass-plated daguerreotype photos, but in colour.
It is a haunting, if not alluring piece of beauty, to be sure. Erik seems as if he is fading into the shadows; or, perhaps, is actually part of them, whereas most of the light is focused on Christine's face and shoulders, whilst the darkness appears to consume the rest of her. Perhaps she is resisting against it, though such is highly doubtful in my opinion. She seems to rather enjoy the shadows, and all that comes with them! And who wouldn't, if a lovelorn Angel of Music were part of them?
The inclusion of a border with crimson flowers is, also, very lovely. It truly emphasies the passion displayed between Erik and Christine.
Again, this is a very lovely rendition of one my favourite photo stills from the film. A vision to behold, truly.

Wow... Thank you so much! I appreciate that comment tremendously. I'm pretty sure that it was a piece of art in itself. And I'm so happy that you could discern so much from something I made! :] Thank you, once again!
