The fez made this ten times better.

I always imagined human Wheatley would wear pince-nez. So very sophisticated... so very British.

The thing is that he's stationed down in the cryo preservation center, where everybody is in tacky looking hotel rooms. He's in charge of all the smelly humans. And throughout the game it shows he's sick of being pushed around by his superiors, so it doesn't feel logical for me to put him in overly posh clothes. He's like a more working class robot that does all the dirty work, but that's just me overanalyzing everything all over the place, so there you go.
I went too in depth into this whole outfit thing. -_-
