3 verschillende sluitertijden.. dan gebruik je photomatix (een hdr programmatje) om deze 3 sluitertijden samen te voegen zodat je dingen ziet die je normaal niet zou zien in fotos.. en je kan het natuurlijk wat surrealistischer maken

Great! Do you remember the Harry Potter 5 trailer? This photo reminds me the sky in the trailer. It's so dark, like something bad is coming closer.

I have just heard of HDR, how does one produce this type of image? Do you need special equipment or is it a technique used in processing?

you only need a camera that you can set the shuttertimes on.. you need one under exposed image.. one normally exposed image and one overexposed image.. if you combine them you can see light in places where it usually wouldnt be.. i use Photomatix for my HDR photos...basically its just merging 3 pictures
