Incredible character design! I love this clothing, too, and your use of pose, anatomy, and colors is wonderfully done and makes for a smooth picture!

Speaking as a person that has actually handeled a couple of greatswords in my day. They are (when made properly) formidable and quick weapons, as they often are well balanced and versatile. Maybe in DS it is'nt, but in real life, a halberd is maybe even a bit slower x3 It's versatile agains an armored opponent and horses, but in a tight area, it's rather useless.. That's where the ricasso of the greatsword comes to it's use ;3
I don't take much notice of in-game fysics ;3 But it's not that much of a reliable source. I prefer to have the thing in my hands and try it for myself, before saying anything.
D'appan't has a sword because of it's status. A halberd id more of a footsoldier/grunt-ish knight's weapon. At least in the Naronian Imperial army.
Tahnks for your input, anyways^^!

It's a thrill! :3
But it can also be a disappointment. The weapon may seem clumsy or not as sufficient as in the films or games, heavy or "floppy".
Many feel the "floppyness" of a sword and gets disappointed, while it's the flexible "floppyness" that gives a sword or a spear their unique strenght ;3

I hope he can use that thing. A greatsword might be not as heavy as many
people think, but it's still not an easy to handle weapon. But it is quite
devastating in the right arms, since a swing from that baby will make people
lose their heads about it. Literally.

Hopefully he is a fomidable fighter with greatswords as well...
but perhaps I am misjudging him because of his demeanor.
I mean, noblemen were not just weaklings in the middleages,
but actually trained for battle. So, I might not give that lizard
enough credit. And he does hold his blade quite efficiently,
if I thik about it... at least from a perspective of weight.
