This started as a pencil sketch I did from a photo many years ago. The sketch was not too fancy, but I always liked it and wanted to flesh it out a bit. Here is what I came up with using my trusty Wacom tablet and Photoshop. I'm a big fan of the old monsters. This is Lon Chaney Sr. as the Phantom of the Opera from the definitive 1925 film version of the story.
