I find it absolutely hilarious that, in the context of the ghostbusters universe, everytime Gozer appeared to conquer a world previously, he always took the form of a giant monster of some kind because it was the form chosen by the cultists on that planet. When Gozer tries to attack earth in the movie, he takes the form of a giant walking cartoon mascot for a marshmallow company.
