I drew these during my Advanced Illustration class when, ironically, I probably wasn't supposed to be drawing. Or maybe I was. I can't remember; I just know this accomplished nothing that will help my grade.

ANYWAY, it was I think during the drawing of the second guy that I realized that I don't HAVE to use my fancy drafting pencils for everything and that a mechanical pencil automatically has a strong fine point perfect for sharp outlines. I was using 0.5 graphite, but if I continue making stuff like this, I may want to bust out the 0.7 variety as well for some thicker outlines as needed.

These are nobody in particular and are just practice at drawing with more realism in mind. The Goth girl may be expanded upon and used for something, but overall, just for practice.

It's also possible that if I get good enough at this style that the DES Comics will start being made in this style. It would be SO refreshing not to use the computer for anything but clean up and lettering / word bubbles.
