Don't get me wrong, I won't draw the megas along with the first generation pokedex, but I did this for this selfish baka -> . I guess I keep some of my promises, eh. Also, I'll be doing Mega Rayquaza next, and maybe another drawing before coming back to number 7, Squirtle~ Hope you like it.I do not own Pokemon.

The all thing about the mega evolution seems weird to me, reminds me more of Digimon than Pokemon ^^ But yeah, Mega Charizard X looks cool, except the fact that he was those flames around his mouth all the time, I can't seem to get over that detail

I've never seen Digimon but that's what I heard of too. For me, after the generation of Kyogre, Rayquaza and Groudon, I don't have the interest to follow up with Pokemon anymore. Many of the new Pokemon look so weird to me compared to the original ones as we know, I think it's become too complicated in terms of concept design. But I have to admit this new Mega Evolution of Charizard is very badass!

I've watched Digimon and they only evolve temporarily, exactly as mega evolutions. I only know the first two generations and a few Pokemons from the third ^^ You're right, most of them look weird or robotized. This is pretty good, though! It's weird that he has two mega evolutions.

I knew of Mega Revolution from Pokemon Origins in its battle against Mewtwo, that was pretty cool. I wish the show was longer though, as I find Red is a more appealing character than Ash/Satoshi.Β

Exactly. Or if he has two mega evolutions, why the others have only one, or nothing at all? Doesn't seem fair to me xD
I watched the scene, even though I haven't watched the entire series. A friend showed me the fight, so I know what you mean. It was cool when Red saw Charizard as Charmander, hehe. A bit emotional too, I guess. And you're right, I agree, Red is more, umm, Shonen-like, I guess. Satoshi may have been just someone kids would look up to.

That's right, all I can think of is that they're trying to lengthen the story because of all the money they've been making with the name Pokemon lol. They kept improvising for the Pokemon world for decades and Satoshi has never aged since day one haha I don't know how long his journey is gonna be but it doesn't look like it'll end anytime soon. That's why I like Red better, because his story has a conclusion.

That's probably true, every franchise does that nowadays. But everything meets their end sometime, because it starts repeating itself or it gets too much data and it's hard to keep up with. I guess you're right about Red.

You got my point. I love Ash/Satoshi a lot when I was little, and Pokemon was my childhood show. But after the 3rd generation I'm like "that's it for me...". Not that the new ones are bad, but they are just too long. I have a feeling that the Pokemon anime is still on-going so that they can sell the games on Nintendo and stuff lol, as if the show is more about marketing more than entertainment.
Although I still watch the movies 'cause some of the new legendaries are pretty bad-ass looking. The new movie is called PokΓ©mon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of AgesΒ Β <--- click it for more info ^^

When I was little, I've only watched like less than 50 episodes of Pokemon, they weren't broadcasting it much around here. I got to watch DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh, though, and after a couple of years, there was a channel who broadcasted anime after 8 PM, so I got into Inuyasha and some other animes.
But I know what you mean, Yu-Gi-Oh is another example of that. Even though I haven't watched anything who got out after GX, I bet it's the same as Pokemon. More monsters, they look more mechanical, things like that. And they still come up with games, especially on PSP. Probably this series is the same as Pokemon, made for marketing reasons rather than for the story to continue.
Yeah, it looks cool. I've only watched one Pokemon movie, there was something with a train, I think. Gosh, I hope I'm not confusing it with Digimon, because I think there was a Digimon train in the series or a movie too
