The Savior Bossfight was IMO really something new in the DMC series. And the best Bossfight after Vergil and Nelo Angelo for me.

I think the Savior boss fight kinda reminded me of Mundus Round 2 in DMC1. Big boss in the center, only terrain is around it, some minions... I got a feeling that was somehow rehashed from that. But thr only boss fight in the original DMC would be both Vergil third and final round in DMC3 and all three fights against Mundus in DMC1.
