Myself on Striding Edge, climbing to Helvellyn.Fantastic scramble, especially the steep bit up to the summit (top right)

I've been at both ends of striding edge, but never on it. This picture makes it look less perilous that from a distance. Maybe I'll do it next year. Nice shot.

The start (from the bottom) is a breeze.. deinately looks tame too, once you get to 'the chimney', and the steeper part in the distance of this shot, its a bit steeper! Need both hands for sure.
2 Tipss, try to avoid going on a weekend, and you're much better off going up than down!

Gutted! Was supposed to be doing that last summer but the weather was utter rubbish that week

Yeah we tryed it last year and had to run down when the clouds hit!
Try and avoid weekends if possible, the queues on the ridge ruin it
