This is why I cannot get anything done ...
Here's another version of the dress inspired by who -- as I said before -- happens to have great taste in clothes!
In my haste to do the first version I cheated and used Greg (aka "Pamela") from "Lipstick Discipline" as a model. Here's the problem: Greg has brown hair and I have blond. Until recently I've hated the way my blond characters look, which is why most them aren't. Blond, I mean.
Soooo ... being the anal-retentive pain in the tookus that I am, I just spent an hour redoing it, trying my hand at doing a blond head of hair and making it more accurate. Well, as accurate as I can make it, given my god-given lack of artsy-fartsy abilities.
While I was at it, I softened his bangs and added a touch of curl, which was how I was back in the day.
I LOVE THAT PURSE!!! It is so girly, imagine being a boy and carrying that little prissy thing in your hand while adorned in such a wonderfully girlish dress!
I also took the time to add some shadowing ... yes, our little hero is wearing a bra -- thanks for noticing! I gave him some fluffy cute knee socks, too. Too much? I don't think so! LOL!!!
Now he's all ready for an afternoon at the county fair and maybe some shopping and dinner with his mother. Let's just hope he doesn't run into his friends from his little league team ...
Now really, who among us -- boy or girl -- would not love to spend a day like this ....
So what do you think? Is this too much? (I don't know why I ask this ... I like it, and that's what's important, yes?

Wow, I wish. The story is long and complicated, but the bottom line is that it's not posted and probably will not be for some time. The art is screwed up and the story needs editing ... blah-blah-blah ... I dooooo hope to make it available eventually, but my plate is full with other projects and obligations. I will definitely announce it here if and when I ever do.

It's a sweet little purse, isn't it? I stole the design from one I saw in a store. My little alter ego is so embarrassed to be seen carrying it (much less wear a dress!) but he'd do anything to make his mother smile!

Not that you asked, but I had some ideas if you decide to continue...
1. If her breasts are growing, it raises questions of school.
a. Does she need a bra or sports bra to hide everything?
b. What does she does for phys ed?
c. I would hope she's in panties full time by now... (more phys ed questions) Maybe more home economics?
2. Her mother could decide to augment her "vitamins" with lactation vitamins. She already breast fed a baby once. She might have a promising career as a nursemaid...
3. I do really want to read about her sexual awakening. To a black guy.

I love your ideas! They fit in so very well with many of the things I've had planned for our little hero.
For the record, I had "boy boobs" when i was in junior high school. It was very embarrassing and I got teased a lot for it. In secret I found girl's brassieres very interesting ... and confusing! I didn't want to be a sissy ... but I was fascinated with these things.
Maybe one day I'll finish this story and your dreams will come true!

Yes, I understand. I loved it deeply, also. 55 years later and it is still the most potent memory that I have. If I think about those times I experience the urgency of them quite physically as well as all the feelings and thoughts. I don't wear women's clothes now. I went through a period of time when I wanted to be a girl too. That also has passed and like the dressing up it is not part of my life now, but there are those moments of remembrance and yearning.

It is autumn here and the colors are getting richer each day. Kind of like my life, though the riches are not monetary, and like my life the spring is remembered with great joy and excitement.
I think it is great that you can draw pictures that express so much of my experience in life (not that your aim was my experience), both real and fancied. My artistic talents do not lie in the realm of visual arts, so it is always a bit of a mystery how anyone can draw anything that actually looks like something. Your pictures are very good at that, as I wrote just now.

This is so adorable. David looks lovely, I love the gorgeous dress, the hair-clip, necklace, and of course that irresistable purse. And you've drawn him superbly: I love the blushing cheeks, the gauche pose, and the rabbit in the headlight eyes. But darling there's nothing to be worried about. The lucky boy has a sales lady who's sympathetic to boys who can't but indulge their femininity. I am sure she smiles indulgently and even teases him a little bit, but at heart she thinks girly boys are sweet and not too silly, and she loves encouraging him to look girly and pretty. What an enchanting scene.

This is brilliant! I can imagine exactly how the darling dress, cute bra, pretty hairclip, and lovely necklace must feel on David. He's so adorable girlishly holding that exquisite little purse. I love the combination of mortification and barely suppressed pleasure in his facial expression. Yes, it's embarrasing and humiliating, but it also feels so good and it's so wonderful to finally experience mother's smile and approval, even though it's slightly mocking.
In thanking the amused saleslady and telling her the dress is "pretty," I see his feminine self emerging and, despite himself, beginning to bond and identify with his mother. In so doing he may (as did I) begin to incorporate a distinctly feminine vocabulary, finding himself naturally using words like "pretty," "cute," "adorable," "darling," and "exquisite" that more masculine males rarely, if ever, utter. And the identification will be well on it's way.

A trip with mommy to the county fair, eh? Looks like poor Dave is in for a very long afternoon! Of course, if your opus "Lipstick Discipline" teaches us anything, it's that his mom never does anything without an ulterior motive; there's always a hidden agenda in there somewhere.
I wonder if she's "volunteered" him for a county fair stint with (1) helping the other teen girl volunteers in painting cute characters on the little kid's cheeks at the welcome tent, or (2) judging entries in the sewing and needlework contest entrees, or (3) taking a turn as a target in the dunk tank. I'm sure his buddies on the ball team wouldn't be so mean as to take any shots at getting him wet just cause he's playing dressup with mommy instead of playing shortstop, right? ... Right?
Or, if she's even meaner, she could frogmarch him over to take his turn 'man'-ning the kissing booth. Surely his teammates would be the perfect young gentlemen.
