Here she is, the long-awaited Fusion of Sphalerite and Sapphire: Sphene!
This version of Sphene is different to the first drawing I drew of them, because that version was Defective due to Sapphire (my BirthGemsona). They look and behave very differently, due to the two contrasting Sapphires composing the respective Fusions. Example: this version of Sphene is a lot more elegant and genteel, whereas the Defective version is very brash and childish. The only traits that both variations of Sphene share are the general colour palette, as well as the weapon (being a huge scythe made of jagged ice).
This version of Sphene identifies with feminine pronouns instead of gender-neutral, as this version's component Gems are both female (technically).

Sphene's design is a lot more elegant and Sapphire-orientated than the Defective version, which had a more urbanized feeling to their outfit (being baggy shorts, headphones, etc.). Sphene wears a shawl that is mostly drawn from Sphalerite's design, especially with the vast amount of stars incorporated into her design. Her dress is that of Sapphire (you wouldn't catch Sphalerite dead wearing a dress - too feminine for her liking), as well as the pinafore (which has been tripled). The ribbon that secures her shawl is a redesigned version of the ribbon that Sphalerite ties her messy hair with. Her arms are joint at the elbows (being four arms instead of three, which Defective Sphene possessed), with the two of these wearing elbow-length gloves (obviously belonging to Sapphire).
Sphene's hair is still curled, but is nowhere near as long nor as messy as Defective Sphene's hair. Unlike them, she actually has two huge disembodied arms made from jagged ice hovering around her. These arms are obviously a result of Sapphire's cryokinesis mixing with Sphalerite's telekinesis, which is why they can float without any excessive mental power. Another difference she has with Defective Sphene is her colour scheme. It has a lot more blue incorporated into her outfit, which isn't really found in real life Sphene Gemstones, but I love her all the same. Another difference are her eyes, as she has four in different places to Defective Sphene, who only has three.

Like Banded Red Obsidian (Sphalerite and Ruby), traits of Sphene have been incorporated into the design of all three of them, in the form of Peach Aventurine:

The most noticeable features of Sphene are the curls in the hair, as well as the stars bordering her visor, including the biggest set of arms (which are reminiscent of her ice-arms).

Sphene's personality is a reserved and eerily calm one. She doesn't usually interact with others, but if she is needed to combat a threat that only she can take care of, then she is more than willing to fight with all of her strength. Her body, oddly enough, remains stationary, while her ice-arms and mental powers fight for her. She is a very skilled fighter. She can deflect blows by creating walls of ice out of nothing but thin air that has been condensed by her cryokinesis, and can unleash her telekinesis in huge psychic bursts.
However, if her body is touched by an enemy's blow, she won't hesitate to use her brute strength to overpower them. "Don't judge a book by it's cover," I've heard. Sphene may be ladylike, but she definitely isn't a lady.

I think the colors actually work a lot more then they do with the defective Sapphire version, honestly.

AAAAAAAA
Thank you! <3
And yeah, this colour scheme is a lot better. It's a mixture of warm and cool colours, which I've rarely been able to pull off successfully.

It gives off a elegant vibe, which adds to the feel of the outfit. And it's nice.

Good, because I used the word "elegant" a lot in her description. Thank you again!
You're the only one who continuously gives me feedback on my Fusions, which I very much appreciate.

Gee I wonder why I used that word then.

I'm glad about that. I know how annoying it is to get no feedback on a post you made. So I'm happy to provide some feedback. Even if none of it is criticism.
