Details
Personality: Heavily effected by his mother and others of the herd, Vas tends to be rather self conscious about his coat color, and tries his very best to make sure that his mane is always short so that he can lessen the possibility of anyone mistaking him for a doe - though he will quickly deny that this affects him at all. Because of the constant attacks by his royal pain of a mother, and the lack of parenting, Vas has the strong need to protect others no matter what the situation or cost. He can't stand to see other's being picked on, for whatever reason there is for that, stemming from his desire to have been protected against his mother's words. He adores any Royal Guard-member, and looks up to them like they are the sun that feeds the grass that sustains life (a little bit of an extreme example, but they're important to him!), he eagerly awaits for the time where he will be old enough to join their ranks. He is fascinated by Blackwood and stories about it, especially with all the wild animals that could kill an unsuspecting fawn, with wild scenarios filling his young mind about protecting others in that harsh wilderness. He's very driven to learn as much magic as he can pump into himself, and become as strong and smart as possible, to aid in his quest to protect anyone in need of protection. Vas is a little goofy when it comes to making friends, and is politely confused as to when an aquaintance becomes a friend - but he doesn't want to ask for fear of being rude, but wants to know. He loves to help others out in other ways (besides protecting their lives, of course). Royal guard training starts now in his mind. - Vas is always on the move, especially after hitting the age of two.
History: Vas's mother, En'tia, wanted nothing more than to have a gorgeous doe-fawn with a pale coat. One that could become a highly royal doe with a mate of power, and hoist herself up higher in rank for being able to throw such wonderful coats and well proportioned fawns. She wanted to take that doe and preen her into perfection (or at least, her idea of it). So when she birthed her fawn and saw its wonderful pale coat, her hopes rose faster than what was reasonable. But when she checked to see if the fawn was in fact healthy, she was shocked, and then angered to see that her perfect filly had become a male. Her love had become hatred as soon as the little buck could stand on his gangly legs. She spent her days counting the time where she could leave the femininely coated buck who had set her plans back so much, and barely mothered the young buck, besides allowing for him to feed from her. She would constantly criticize him for everything he did wrong, and would accept nothing more than perfection when she had her eyes on him, and would ceaselessly comment on the fact that he had a doe's coat (which is why she gave the young buck a girly sounding name). Some time before his proper weaning, she dumped the young buck on (insert wonderful foster parent(s) here), and left him behind for greener pastures.
Vas took quickly to his new family, where he now is -mostly- happily living.
