Description A new face at Hogwarts causes trouble (and other things) to brew. What impact will Jessa have on the school, and how long will it be until the students find out that she's not quite what she seems.....

A lovely piece I comissioned from the uber-talented wrenstormbringer - I am so pleased, please go and comment in her gallery at [link]

Jessamin DuVar is a Cambion, and one of the main characters in my "Daemon" storyline. He father was an Incubus who become briefly enamoured with a human witch. Her father and mother parted ways before Jessa's conception was known, and she was raised solely by her mother. Jessa didn't quite begin to understand her true nature until reaching puberty, upon which she became determined to master her daemon gifts - before they mastered her.

She has traveled the world extensively and works for the Daemon High Court as an Enforcer, searching for other daemonkind and dark creatures who stray from the Code, risking their exposure to the mortal world. Of course being half-Succubus, her methods of hunting lie along the lines of verbal persuasion and occasionally physical seduction to subdue her prey. She is also a talented witch in her own right, deamon blood aside.

Jessa also has a long term on/off again relationship with the purebred Incubus, Morgadu. Though their personalities manage to clash frequently, he is one of the few beings she can truely open up to.

Though she's not really based in J.K. Rowlings universe, I thought it would be an interesting cross-over, say perhaps she came to teach the Dark Arts for a year. Given her experience it's not a far stretch, and who better to teach than a half daemon!

I could be wrong, but I think I can see an unclad single point poly chain in the hair that shouldn't have been rendered.

You'd have to ask Wren.

But in my full size version I can see a chain like hair decoration with a charm attached - is that what you are referring to?

A ton of detail is lost in the smaller version unfortunately.

It *might* be, but the detail is too small on the screen version to tell. That would certainly explain it though. The reason it looked like a poly chain is that it's following the line of the lock of hair, and that's one method that can be used to create lifelike hair effects.

Sorry I posted in the wrong deviation though, I misinterpreted the previous post.

Teehee!

Who says you can't fave your own work. If I can get someone to make a CSS she'll be gracing my journal instead at some point. LOL
