Because of this, she very often lies to him and tries in every possible way to hide from him many of her feelings, secrets and personal experiences. Because he knows that he will simply ignore this and will still force her to do what he wants.
He tries not to use physical violence against her, although he has been ready to do so several times. But something always stopped him. Basically, he puts pressure on her morally: with his screams, threats and accusations

But he always protects her... But why? I will answer you: he cherishes her like the apple of his eye, because for him she is the key to his power and to proving that he is worthy of being an Invader. He doesn’t even understand that he was expelled to Earth, Zin understands this and is trying to convey it to him, and he does not want to listen to her.
If he loses her, he will lose many opportunities, so he protects her like a lioness to her cub.

"Is he a good father or not?" - a controversial issue. He is apathetic to any of her feelings, even if she tells him that she hates him, choking on tears, he will not even shed a tear, his heart will not even tremble. He will feel a sense of guilt, regret or realization. He acts strictly to his plan and rebellion on the part of his daughter should not interfere with this
He tries his best to play the role of a good father, and constantly reads relevant books. Often during conversations with his daughter, he may look at a book, afraid to take the wrong step. For him, questions about his daughter, fatherhood or something like that are like an exam. For him, this is like a school test and he absolutely does not look at it all like a father.
