i drew this a few months ago because i was sick of seeing no Interstella fanart and especially of Octave. He's my fave.and i got a new scanner!!!!! well... my first one ever... YAYE!
this was looking at a couple reference pics on my laptop screen and using my mechanical pencil
i dont remember how long this took me.

XD Damng it's about time I've seen someone else who's heard of Interstella 5555 none the less draws fanart of it. @_@ I was beginning to believe I was one of the very few who has ever seen the pure awesomeness that is Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto combined.
I'm a big Arpegious fan myself. Have something for the hot-shot type.
This truly is one of the most perfect yet underestimated anime movies of all time.

@__@ And even more so for any Daft Punk fan. I mean what first got me interested was that I was watching Daft Punk music videos when I then saw the animations of "Harder, Faster, Stronger" as well as the other two. I got curious about them and looked them up constantly only to eventually find out that there was a movie to it.
But the dang thing is so hard to find I only finally watched it half a year ago.

Looks really good. The shading is particularly impressive. Course that's one of my most difficult areas whenver i do try to draw ><..
