Phoenix was raised to be adequate for a godly figure, so she has grown a perfectionist, well mannered, but also afraid of disobedience and punishment. She often fears the consequences of misbehaving, nearly always following everything she’s told as instructed, however, she’s aware of her imperfect nature, which leads her to think deeply of matters, specially of her own existence.
She’s a serious girl, silent and distant given the way she was raised. Loyal to a fault. Has difficulties finding fun in activities due to her perfectionism and a bit of competitivism. Celebrates victories with humbleness, often being too hard on herself to really take them at all.
Her aura-reading abilities make it easy for her to see and understand people, but she rarely ever talks to others, often spending time studying auras from afar than playing with children her age.
History:
A resident of the eccentric city of Tandwiel by birth, Phoenix was a quiet child, ever so silent, people would even think of her as just a little doll in her earlier years. Raised by her parents, Emily and Hawk Sauber, a couple of Lucario and owners of an important printing business. She had quite an accommodated life full of luxuries, though these things were of little interest to her other than for aesthetic appreciation. Being educated at home ever since she was a baby, she found the most interest in the stories of the books she was narrated to, and eventually got to read. Exercising her imagination from such a young age made her a big daydreamer, but also developed her already exceptional cognitive capacities, filling her little child brain with knowledge.
Phoenix as an early infant never had much to worry about, her parents however had some issues going on regarding the child. While the mother was happy to have a daughter, the father didn’t seem too happy with it. Sometimes casual conversations would turn into heated arguments. Though they never ended in violence from either side, they couldn’t seem to be able to end in good terms either.
One day Emily simply disappeared from the house, which was explained to be due to a divorce. At first the child didn’t understand it and thought it was her fault, but her father told her that Emly just left to the mainland and that it didn't matter. This however, was just the beginning of strange things happening; she quickly saw her wardrobe changed for boy’s clothes and her father addressing her as “Falcon” and using male pronouns. This didn’t feel alright for the youngster, but any corrections regarding her name resulted in punishment, so she learned to listen and obey.
Now with a silent, obedient doll of a child, and inspired by ancient tales of mythical entities, Hawk saw it as the perfect time to start a special training for his “son”, thought to turn Phoenix into a god. She wasn’t even 7 years old when it started, and parallel to it she met a new mother who’d continue with the game of “Falcon” and even gift her with sisters. This period of her life introduced a big amount of new people to the Riolu’s life, including her Aegislash servant and trainer. Vincent.
She grew up seeing her sisters being raised in a different way she was, and even though she loved them deeply, she wasn’t happy being their “big brother”. She loved their dresses and that they could take strolls in the city and meet new people at Tandwiel Academy. Her desire to make friends and interact with other people became stronger every day. It was thanks to Vincent that her father finally allowed her out of the house on her own, to further train her aura reading skills was the excuse.
Inner Focus: The sheer power of her will makes her nearly unstoppable when something’s caught her interest. She keeps going even in the most adverse of situations.
Moveset:
+Endure: Power: -- || Accuracy: -- || Status || Allows her to survive any attack with at least 1 HP for 1 round. ||
She can take a hit that would normally knock her out and remain standing, weakened, but still conscious and capable of moving. She can also use this to resist highly stressing situations, specially physically demanding ones.
*Force Palm: Power: 60 || Accuracy: 100 || Physical || 30% chance of paralysis. ||
Focuses her energy in her palm and releases it in a shock wave produced by her aura. The clashing energies may cause a disturbance in the target’s body in the form of paralysis.
*Quick Attack: Power: 40 || Accuracy: 100 || Physical || Priority +1. ||
An attack so fast she nearly becomes invisible to normal sight. Often used as a prelude to Force Palm.
+Foresight: Power: -- || Accuracy: -- || Status || Removes Ghost's immunity to her Fighting and Normal moves. ||
Uses this ability to read energies and auras, which allows her to sense motives and touch ghosts.
Extras:
Her father often uses male pronouns for her and the name Falcon instead of her real name Phoenix when addressing her. She doesn’t like it when he does this, but is already used to it anyway.
The man is truly delusional, but that doesn’t show often in his day-to-day life, people may think he’s a normal person if not even a wise man.
She loves her sisters a lot, but some times wishes she were treated like them.
New mother is a Ninetales, her sisters are both Vulpix, 5 and 3 years old.
Only her close relatives use male pronouns on her, except for her servant Vincent . Otherwise she presents herself as a female.
She doubts her father truly loves her as she is, so she pretends to be a son when he's around.
She truly believes her destiny is to “become a god”, so she tries to hold to the standards required to be one according to her father.
Some people refer to her as a mini adult, and some get to confuse her with a boy.
