Description
Halloween is coming up and this creature seems to fit the theme.
This is one of many types of "Horror".
They are mysterious and twisted, if not simply grotesque creatures that seem to feed on the fear of their victims.
Different "Horrors" appear in some fantasy themed universes for an example in "Warhammer" and "Magic the Gathering". They also bear some resemblance to the "Hollows" from the manga/anime "Bleach".
This is a "Horror" for my story of "Obakemono no Rage."
I like how it turned out. ^^
The idea just popped up in my mind and I had to draw it. I blame "Hellsing" for the inspiration! xD
It sort of resembles a Bandit Spider from "Okami" doesen't it?
Imagining it in battle makes me think of a certain track from the One Piece Movie 7 OST: [link]

creeping in the shadows, in the closets, it looks like more of a nightmare monster than a real physical threat.

Well it was never supposed to be like that. I designed it to be a horrifying and grotesque monster, not a small creeping critter.

Yes it does have a resemblance to a Bandit Spider. The face reminds me of the hollows from Bleach.
This does fit the theme of horror very well ^_^

I mostly changed because I felt like I had become disconnected with the real reason I joined this site. I was trying to be a popular artist and not doing what I really wanted to do. Also my username was less than desired. At least now I have my pen name ^_^

Even scanners can mess up a drawing, though they are better than cameras.
And its not like there's a recipe on inspiration, it simple shows up at any odd moment. xD

Yeah but I have little to do anymore, so I really wish that I could figure out something to do with all this time.... Drawing was my idea... but everything is just feeling forced.

Well if I lack inspiration I usualy go back to things that have inspired me in the past and hope to get inspired once again. ^^
Another good idea is to write down any idea that could become an interresting drawing. You know, to save the inspiration for later use. ^^
