This is another scool work and a FREAKING BIG ONE!!!!! like 24" x 30" ? Everybodie were going CRAZY!! D: my hands are still full of paint..

anyway I love it and I spend like 1 or 2 hours writing the text!! and here it is:

Quetzalcóatl

His name mean feathered snake. He's both connected to the earth by his snake part and to the sky by his feather.

The Aztecs and the toltècs associated him to vegetation and later to Venus. He's one of the four creator god and he invent the calendar. He's worshipped as boss of the priests and the defender of the craftsmen.

Quetzalcóatl recreate the humanity by pouring his own blood on bones that he've stole in the dead's kingdom. He shows to humans how to survive and teach Later, Tezcatlipoca corrupted him by introducing him to carnal pleasures and drinking. After a discord concerning the offerings, Quetzalcóatl is exiled by Tezcatlipoca.

In 1519, when Cortés lands in South America, the Aztecs believed that it was Quetzalcóatl coming back from exile …

Son nom signifie serpent à plumes. Il est à la fois relié à la terre par ses écailles et au ciel par ses plumes.
