You know, I'd bet a lot of these demonic creatures would make for great enemies in a game. Especially one similar to Doom or Dark Souls.

Why the whole race? Demons escaped hell to take over or did god release them to use as some sort of punishment on earth?
When I saw this picture, I assumed this guy did something really bad to get "legendary suffering" but apparently these are just regular jerk demons instead of creatures of punishment, which I feel would be more intense and interesting.
I like the design of the demons and how they're ripped open, but why does everything related to hell have to be red? If it were a bunch of pretty colors I would find it much more disturbing.

It would, but to me it would make them seem smarter which is more scary to me. Strange beings I don't understand that may not be any threat to me is more scary to me than a clear but simple minded threat.
