There are times like this when I really wish I had photoshop, or at least knew how to use something other than colored pencils. Then maybe the rain effect wouldn't look so lame

Anyways, another illustration for my fic (if I ever get this far with it). its Shego, caught in the rain, sitting in front of a large crater. I'll give you two guesses as to where it is... go on, guess. and yes, her skin is *supposed* to be greener than normal (but I will not tell you why XP). I kinda had trouble finding the right color for it here's a very short preview of the scene, just a teaser. I had to take out some spoilers, so it's a little vague. Sorry 'bout that.

Shego stopped at the rim of the crater and panted for breath. Fatigue, whether it was physical or emotional she didn't know, slowly overcame her and she dropped to her knees in the soggy grass. The rain that soaked her hair and clothes was icy, but nothing could compare to the cold she now felt internally. She wrapped her arms around herself, more for comfort than to keep out the cold. And all the while familiar voices crept into her head, whispering, hissing, remindering her of all those moments she had tried so hard to forget. She clamped her eyes shut and gritted her teeth, concentrating on making them disappear like they had done before. But this time the voices were persistent. They only grew louder.

"These powers are a great responsibility..."

"Wha... what's happend to me? I'm... blue!"

"Keep filing your nails and your hands are weapons, don't file them and you might as well be lighting birthday candles for preschool children."

"Sometimes I wish you'd take life a little more seriously..."

"You think you're all that, but you're not!"

"It's time I finished what I started..."

"But you didn't. You had plenty of opportunities and you let them pass. Why? Why didn't you just get rid of me when you had the chance?"

"You know nothing of pain!"

"I'll be alright, I promise..."

"I told you, I warned you, didn't I? That you were playing with fire. All the other powers are for defense, they enhance the ability of their possessor to give them the advantage. But the green... the green is different..."

Does anybody else find it strange that all the other powers are easily explained except Shego's? Blue is superstrength, Purple is shrinking, Red is basically cloning (heh), Green is... what? lasers? she's blasted people with it and the worse that happens is they get a little stunned. Now, this is just my mind working in mysterious ways again, but what if she wasn't using them correctly? and not out of ignorance, she clearly knows how to control all the other powers as well as her own. But what if her powers were so horrible, even Shego's hesistant to use them to their fullest extent... What if she was afraid of her own powers? That's kinda the idea that started the whole fic. Most of the story will probably be overruled later on with the fourth season (at least I hope, I want to see how they'd address this) but for now, I'll just busy myself with turning my ideas into something readable.
