Description I used vishstudio.deviantart.com/art/… as a reference. I guess it’s pretty decent. I learned how to turn my brush into a mechanical pencil on SAI!

My original character Noir Lovelock (yes, I think I'll keep his name like this...maybe...it looks kinda empty without that "e"XD).

EDIT AS OF 4-29-15: I may do a repaint of his face sometime.

I love this version of Noir much more than the one in the sketch! The way you draw that lustrous hair and feline eyes, and paint the sexy lips... I'm beginning to wonder why you once complains about your drawing

I like this one without the veins from the reference, to be honest I imagine those veins on Noir and i just don't think it suits him somehow

when I checked out the ref. I was a bit disappointed you didn't put some of that muscular vain work in there. Could use a bit more texture but over all very well done. The pencil lines add a great depth to it when not enlarged.

Right. Thanks for pointing that out!^^ I tried to incorporate veins in the latest drawing I'm currently working on. They will be terribly difficult to master unless I can find a nice, general reference chart of some sort.^^ Thanks again.

Exactly! This will help me to brush up on my skills more since I really don't encourage myself to do life drawings by myself.^^ I can use the acquired techniques from references and eventually apply them to drawing from life, which is of course what is asked for a lot in the art world.^^

lol But I do suck at coloring! It's fine once I get started on something but because of my inconsistencies when finding time to practice, I keep forgetting how I do things and the process starts all over again.XD
