Oh my goodness, I love the expression you made here! He looks so intimidating! You can't see much of the mouth to find out is he if frowning or not, but his eyes tell the whole story. He looks as though he is ready to bite anyone that dares to get close to him. 
I also like the way you have the light shining directly on the creature! I looks like a deep sea adventure! 
This really looks amazing! You've done a wonderful piece of art that really has a great vibe to it!
