Hi there!I tried to make something different from my nymphs and fairies. Therefore, instead of beauty, I meant to transmit a psychological impact, a shocking moment of desperation.
That is! A very young pregnant girl in front of the mirror, thoughtful, holding strongly the knife ready to stab herself and the baby she carries inside.
More than 60 hours and 30 layers in Photoshop. The mirror and the background are made in 3Dstudio!
The concept idea is based on Lilia, another beautiful friend, although she is not pregnant! Thanx a lot!!!

thank you so much! It was done more than 10 years ago, can't believe it! Which are the emotions it makes you feel? For me, I think it starts with desperation.. And even after so long since I drew it, it still makes me feel a shiver running down my shoulders

I think this is a very creative way of expressing what you said there, a true moment of desperation that only can be to be pregnant! (I dont know how it feels, not yet, lol) but just trying to imagine.. Thanks for sharing ur wonderful works here and keep up the good job!

Well the idea is great and colours sometimes too but there are few things you could improve to make it even better:
The expression ,looks like a model watching her beauty face on the mirror,really far from the slightly madness she should have to stab herself and the child.
The body is a bit strange,doesnt seem like she is pregnant but fatty,and I dont mean the fact she has some curves,I mean her sides and legs.
About skin tone I think that kind of perfection could be your style so nothing to say.
Work on expression,make her eyes full of madness,you are sending us a message we must understand from each breath of the paint not only from explicit messages.Some Darkness will help too in my opinion.
