Happy Belated Birthday !!For starting as a random experiment in paint I am sooo happy with how it came out minus my complete fail at coming up with a better background. For having never drawn Alena before she was remarkably compliant. Other than Darin's head (which still doesn't look entirely right to me) I really like how everything came out - including the hands which is odd for me - so I'm pleased! I hope the (belated) birthday girl likes it too
The colour of Alena's dress is entirely *Makio-Kuta 's fault!!!

I think the reason that Darin's head looks funny is cause it seems a little too big for his body. The forearm also seems a little large for the body but it matches with the head size.

Yeah you should have seen his head before I fixed it XDD It was really too big then and you're probly right it's still a bit too big.

Wonderful job colouring their hair~ It looks so pretty. And I love the overall tone the reds and oranges bring to this picture, they're all warm colours so it's very soothing. *very curious how the top of Alena's dress goes*

Yeah Taisa was telling me what you were doing and we had a good laugh about it. strangely enough the pose started with the hands in my mind and grew from there. Maybe that's why they came out decent - I actually knew what I wanted to do with them XD

lol - I know - but she's so different (in a very very god way) from my first designs I don't really consider it the same character. XDD
