I can dream right?I was randomly watching the Tales of the World OP (I love the theme for the second game) when suddenly this absolutely had. to. happen. It's largely traced off a screenshot from the 3rd game's OP (It was originally Jade, Judas and Jadeite) I just. my feels.
I'm sad that Tales of the World never did well here, I love the chance to watch the characters from the different games interact. But... you know... my brain didn't go on to write the entirely of Richard's subplot within the game.... no of course not... *shifty eyes*
So Richard, Asbel and Sophie all ended up in >Tales of the World kingdom< during their travels around the world. But Asbel has gone MIA and Richard has assembled a group of Knights consisting of several other Tales characters who handle all sorts of random problems but whose real purpose is to find Asbel. Richard is worried that Lambda might be up to no good again, but he's trying to keep Lambda's existence hidden from all the other characters. Of course Jade is way too keen for this and keep hassling Richard over the amount of effort he's gong through to track down a single missing Knight until he finally confesses the truth. In reality Asbel ran off on his own because Lambda's presence was attracting the attention of >big baddie< who wants to use Lambda's power in their >big evil scheme<

ToW RM 2... I saw the OPs for all 3 RM games and loved that one.
If only I could understand Japanese. I could read and know a bit of the language but not enough for a conversation. *sigh* Why must these games not be in English?

I love the song for the 2nd one, its so catchy.
Likewise~ I really enjoyed playing the first one and I'm sure they only got better. I think the reason they never came out in english was because the first one didn't sell very well.

When I saw the opening for the 2nd one, i was like I need this game! All my favorite characters are there(not to mention pretty much all the TOA characters except Natalia). Then I saw the 3rd one's opening and I screamed OH MY DERRIS KHARLAN! I CAN"T MOVE ON WITH LIFE KNOWING THIS EXISTS! The moment I saw Flinn and Guy in the opening, my heart stopped. I really hoped to see a replica joke with these two X( and then they had to put Yuri in there. They just want me to die! I WANT TALES OF WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ISGRHUGOGSAJO!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes - they just keep getting better and better!! But no more in english so alas I angst. I think If I ever learn japanese my first reward to myself will be these games *nods*

Not only that, but they got the better version of Tales of Vesperia in Japanese. I've seen a couple of cutscenes with Patty and I screamed. How can they cut off such a character the first time! It's like TOA without Anise!
I don't understand my Japanese cousins at all. They want to be americanized and I want to be japanesized. We got fat people and Twilight while they got Tales of.

Yes, though I'm very happy that they brought over the Tales of Graces f. I just can't imagine it being complete without the bonus arc.
Its the same principle though- you only see the good and exciting part about what they have over there, just like they only see the good and exciting parts of living over here. Living on this side of the ocean we're used to a lot of what we already have and probably take a lot forgranted.

I wanted these games in English so badly. ;~;
This turned out really nice. I really like the way Richard looks. The line work looks nice. Not shaky at all like my few attempts at tracing have looked like.
Can I have a Tales of the World game with that plot too please?

As for my lines - they are kinda shaky - this is sized down significantly from the original so you can't tell XD I was amused to find out how similar Jade and Richard's bangs are while I worked on this though XD I will now forever be able to draw Jade's hair.
