From the forbidden pages of the Necronomicon at the center of ultimate chaos lies Azathoth...(Artists Notes)
I did these a while ago, and shut down the account i had them on, I thought i lost them, but thankfully i found the flash drive that i kept them on. I have been a HUGE fan of Lovecrafts work for a long time and after visiting his grave site i decided it was time to pick this project up again.
Im trying to throw together my own Necronomicon, with my own art work and some of my own creatures from my own twisted mind in there.
So feel free to leave feed back, id really like to know what you all think of these.

believe it or not I drew the main design out by hand, few trials and errors lol but it seems to have come out good

For the writing, did you create an alphabet and wrote someting or is it just random. If it is the alphabet, please post it and also say what it means. It would be a nice addition to my Call of Cthulhu game sences.

well first, thanks a lot, i wish i could say i made up the alphabet, though i am working on a necronomicron ruin work of my own, its a font called lovecrafts diary, you should be able to find it anywhere on the net for free, i could post the translation, but its more fun to let everyone translate the aincent writing and discover the secrets of maddness themselves

Well for this translation, i am fairly sure that there will be no time displaced ancestors looking to do you harm. though, as to all who risk in translating the forbidden pages, your sanity is in your hands

not mutch to say on page 1 , i can't read it and if i could it probably woulden't make any sense. I don't even know if the figure means anything but for a book of the dead this "intro" looks more like a book for arcane spells , nothing too scary or demonic like.

As for the pic, Asathoths description is of a sightless, speachless, ultimate lord at the center of ultimate chaos... first thing that came to my mind was a Black Hole

There really is no "real" Necronomicon. Lovecraft made it up, and people have just published various books under that title since.
