A homage to the old days, and a reupload.I'm probably going to get a bajillion favs on this again because it's Sonic, but whatever.
Kind of fitting since this year is Sonic's 15th. (Celebrating a fictional character's birthday for the win.)

It alway scracks me up in the old school games when Tails goes and blunders into things and gets shot off in some random direction, or runs right into a badnik...or off a cliff...
I know that sounds callous, but...you'd think, as smart as he's supposed to be, he could avoid such situations. XDXD

Well it's decently accurate... I don't like Tails being catapulted off a spring like that. It just doesn't really show what he's good at... You've got Sonic running there but Tails isn't really doing what makes him special... In fact, this makes him look kinda helpless. What's up with that? Like, drawing him flying or doing something that sets him apart would've done anything different? I played Sonic 3 a thousand times and I don't recall Tails once falling into these...

It's more a jab about how he tended to run and fall into traps back then. I'm sure in the times you've played S3 that he's fallen into a trap at least once, yes?

Yes and I always went back for him. It's partly why it bothers me, It's Tails. He's pretty small and helpless yet Sonic is always disregarding him and usually waits to help until it's too late, like in Fleetway's comics. I also really hate Sonic... I usedhim for his shields but made Tails follow him so he wouldn't constantly die/drown/suck and I could still have fun playing the games.

Well, thereΒ΄s the problem. You see, itΒ΄s a german site and only people who go to a german school can join it, some kind of pupil connecting...thingy....well, there are and were MANY people who steal almost every day pictures from this site, most from Sonic. I reported a bunch already but there are so many.... anyway, I can only show you a screenshot from "her" gallery. She says sheΒ΄s in the 6.class now so I donΒ΄t believe sheΒ΄ll understand you if you join and convict her. I already told almost everyone that sheΒ΄s a cheap art theife so perhaps sheΒ΄ll delete her account in a short time. Anyways, here are the screenshots, but not just yourΒ΄s, maybe you can identify other artistΒ΄s work, too so I can collect proofs against her

this was the good ol' days. i hate 3d sonic games.
their plotlines are too complicated. ( sonic adventure 1 and 2 and sonic heroes were the exeptions. ) all you had to do in these were kill badniks, destroy the death egg, and defeat robotnik.

Well, personally I'd celebrate the feeling the games represent. A time when simple stories were more appreciated, kind of. Plus the cool people who made those first innovative games, of course.
And "well" #2, I can't speak for others but it takes more than a certain theme to make me fave something.
It's a great piece of art though, 100% that adventurous colorful and adventurous feeling that makes me love the old games. Sonic is all eyes toward the next bend of the path and Tails is ...maybe not quite as ready for all surprises, poor kid! It doesn't get parodic, which is rare in any works nowadays for some reason. It stays on funny, and it's full of motion, something essential to Sonic.
