Reasoning behind this battle? Well let's look at the statistics: Kamek kidnapped Baby Luigi and the stork and Baby Bowser tries to take down Yoshi at the end (Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island), Bowser goes back in time to join forces with Kamek and Baby Bowser to subjugate the world from the past (Yoshi's New Island), Bowser kidnaps five of the seven Star Children in an attempt to use their hidden powers to subjugate the world (Yoshi's Island DS), Baby Bowser kidnaps the Super Happy Tree which turns the island into a pop-up book and tries to squish the Baby Yoshis (called the "Team Chibi Yoshi" in Super Mario-Kun) (Yoshi's Story) and Bowser kidnaps Yoshi's friends and Princess Toadstool to subjugate Dinosaur Land while in the process trapping Yoshi himself into an egg (Super Mario World). This is just the tip of the iceberg of Bowser's wrongs against Yoshi, his friends, and his species. I'm sure with just what I mentioned that's more than enough for anyone to want to obliterate Bowser. However, this is Yoshi in this case: If he can't eat him, he'll just beat him and call it a day. This was definitely a cool piece. Go Yoshi!
