They- but that's up to the user, and I honestly see them as she as well! Spoilers, btw--


Chara is actually the first fallen human! They died from an illness resulting in Asriel absorbing their soul, blah blah--

Chara is usually looked at for being the bad guy for "erasing" the game after a genocide run. I just see them being corrupted and trying to stop humanity from dying, as well.

I also think they were a troublemaker in a way, since Asriel stated they weren't the "Best child". They're best friends, some people ship them, I don't. I honestly prefer Frisk X Asriel but that's not apart of this--

Chara does appear at the end of the genocide route, as stated before, and some people actually think they were the ones to kill Asgore, Flowey, and Sans due to the player not having control, though I see Frisk being the one who ended them.

But to sum it up,
Chara was the first human to fall, and ended up being apart of the Dreemurr family. Their death resulted in Asgore killing all humans who fell, which then resulted in Toriel leaving him.
