introduced me to Open Canvas.... Darn her!! *shakes fist*I stayed up ALL night playing with it.
But.
I love it.
This may have helped me get out of my Block... we'll see.

Well overall the composition is nice. There are little mistakes here and there with coloring, but really you need to be more careful with line weight. Some of your lines came out very thin are inconsistent and well as a general whole the lines look good in that style of shall we say "digital ink" places like her jaw line create a draw point where it looks like her jaw is dented if you see what i mean.
I like vibrant colors, but i think you selected nice pastels for this piece, however the star tattoo is very vibrant and is the only sharp color. Its hard to not focus in on it because of that. which makes you notice the jaw line >.>. either muting down the star alil bit or (my preference) give the necklace cross and draw strings on her corset sharper colors or highlights. This would help develop an even weight for color and an even flow of focal points.
The last thing is her right ear, her left one i think is balanced better. Its a little more narrow at its base which i think gives it a more slender feel to it. Its my personal opinion that long ears should be more pointy as it gives them a lighter look since fat ears you would think would droop, again just my opinion. But the ear in question is definitely too wide at the base by her head.
However constructive crit to the side i jumped at opening this up this morning it looked neat and by golly it was I do like the illo alot keep up the good work.

Oh! And I'm sorry for the long delay.. I've been focusing on school work and having an artistic block, but I should have your commissions done soon. ^.^ And I'm re-painting that other one to make her brighter with better shadows.

She's really cute! I love the colour and shading.
I really like the way OpenCanvas works, unfortunately they're not supplying an English language version any more which is a shame. I knew I should've bought way back XD

I think they're reducing the staff to Japanese speaking only so there'd be no support for an English version any more; which is rubbish

You put critique requested(haha, huge words under the thumb in my messages). Mmmm, the only thing I could see is that her right ear(our left) seems to be wider than the other. Her right arm also seems a little stiff, maybe curving it just a wee bit will make it seem more natural, and her body is a bit short. Other than that, her body does curve nicely and her hair flows wonderfully. Did I mention that she's pretty? X3 Love the long ears though, I don't like little stumps either XD

EARS!!! I'm addicted to them. And if they have to be long... let them be LONG!!! Not some short Inuyasha or LOTR short nubs. I love them.. don't get me wrong... but THOSE aren't elf ears in my opinion. Now Record of Lodoss War had some nice ears and so did Those Who Hunt Elfs. =3

OC isn't all that hard to figure out, i realized. I was thinking I was going to have to become a tutorial junky to figure it out, like Corel Painter. ^.^; that program is a paint to learn.
