And now for something moderately different!I really don't care if people didn't like Beast Machines, I personally loved it. I kinda like how it had a darker feel to it than Beast Wars, and I like them both equally. Don't like, don't comment and get on with your life, please.
Anyhoo, this canon pairing really tickles me insanely both in Beast Wars and Beast Machines (I'll eventually do the BW versions of these two too, I just had BM references on hand for this.) Their love has all the elements to make it great, it's got its innocent qualities, its tragedy, the fact that it lasts through so many struggles and conflicts throughout both series, and thanks to Silverbolt...it's so entirely corny sometimes (I have absolutely no idea how Blackarachnia stands some of his lines sometimes...) This picture was mostly inspired by the final scene of the episode "In Darkest Knight", which is an episode near halfway through Season Two of Beast Machines (the background is derived heavily from that.) I really like how this turned out though, I tried a new more saturated coloring technique for this and I like the results. Hope that you all like it too.

XD AHHH! Are you kidding?! I love Beast Wars and Beast Machines! It was the first transformers I actually got into when I was younger, it was so long ago. @u@; I don't remeber many of the characters. *hesitatingly laughs*

Great detail and coloring, DoD! And the background is really neat too.
I wasn't fond of Beast Machines simply because of the way the characters changed so much. I watched it mostly because I'm a loyal fan of the voice actors. LoL I also liked the darker feel to it and the music. But I think you have done the show justice.

I can understand why so many people didn't like Beast Machines, but with me personally it really grew on me as I watched the whole series twice through and understood it a bit more. I absolutely love the music in it as well, and the darker feel was a nice change too. Nothing like some bad circumstances to show the strengths of the characters I suppose.

I kind of liked that, too, with 'Bolt and BA's roles reversed. Still, I hated how 'Bolt was so different. Jetstorm was so much cooler than him, even if he was a Vehicon.
I loved Cheetor's and Rattrap's beast modes but hated their robot modes. I hated Primal's beast mode but sort of liked his robot mode. Nightscream had a neat beast mode but his robot mode reminded me of the character Igor from Frankenstein.
Anywho, I should try to draw some of the characters some time. I can't believe I haven't done anything for that show yet. Meanwhile, I'm going to keep staring at your BM fanart.
