Description This is a close-up (as usual with my stuff) and a explanation of the gear I had as LairelossΓ«. I'll only talk about things I've either made or modified.

To begin with the wig, it's not made by me but I had to sew in a lot of extra hair so that the weave wouldn't show through. So it's partly "done" by me. (you can see the other hair is the more golden shining one in the third picture).

The dress is made in a blue/black fabric, which shimmers in proper light (as you can see). It's made with a pattern for medieval dresses that I've modified. For example I've made the waist slimmer, put a white piece in the front of the "skirt" and also made another pair of sleeves that I didn't have a pattern to. The white fabric is a white brocade, and it's originally supposed to be used to make wedding dresses. The sleeves are made in two parts, the shoulder part and the bell part. The white fabric on the high part of the sleeves is covering up the seamline. The bell-parts are both made of the blue and white fabric so they were quite heavy to wear, but they look fantastic. At the back of the dress I've made a simple lace with eyelets, laced with a blue satin ribbon. To finish the dress up I put together a little strand of "pearls" and put in the front of it.

The waist-chain thingy is assembled by me, made of some chains, two crystals and two decorational pendants.

I'm speechless. This dress is absolutely stunning. It truly makes you look like you just stepped out of a portal to an ethereal plane.

No problem. The dress looked like it would be fun to wear for a while.

This is so beautiful! How many yards of fabric did you use? I'm thinking of making my own medieval dress someday. :3

Thank you I think it was about 5-6 yards to get the sleeves so huge and the skirt pretty wide without using gores. It would've been a little less if I had used gores I think but it wasn't really the look I was after

looks very harmonious and quite wearable in the wildermess (as far as LARP Elven costumes go)! And suits you fine, there's too many LARPers/cosplayers who look like they do not belong between their ear extensions.
Off to see the rest of your gallery.

Thank you It was quite nice to wear, although a bit too hot for my taste during the day

oh well most LARP /cosplay costumes tend to be too hot - as most events tend to happen in summer

Hehe yeah xD My faerie outfit for Stormsong is very... bare, so to speak, the problem there being that I larp her during the spring/autumn so I think I should plan my characters better for the larps perhaps
