Well who needs Greninja? Whenever I get X & Y I'm probably going to end up picking Chesnaught as my starter and use him to trounce that frog.

Oh, so the most powerful Pokémon in the original series is now considered a "worse Lucario"? Pff, give me a break. Logically it's those other two who should be the inferior Pokémon if Mewtwo is the strongest Pokémon ever created. Mewtwo's still my man in the games and no new Pokémon can ever take the place of how much I like him.

To be honest, I wasn't man that Greninja made it in, I was mad that Sylevon didn't.

Hardcore fans cried many tears. Honestly, picking the most popular Starter Pokemon from the first and most recent Generation to represent the franchise in Smash 4 was a genius idea.

There is already two pokémon representing mega-evolution, there doesn't need to be a third. Honestly I have nothing against Mewtwos inclusion in smash, it's his fans constant complaining that makes him unappealing to me.

Except Lucario is the most important pokémon for Mega Evolution in the story. Being the mega pokémon of legend and the one with the giant statue in the tower of mastery.
Mewtwo contributes nothing to the story of pokémon X and Y.
Also Mewtwo was useless in smashbros anyway.

*sigh* How many times are Mewtwo fans going to have to put up with these substitutes or supposed "Mewtwo clones" before they can be able to really play as Mewtwo in Smash Bros. again? Based on what people have said about Brawl, they were both supposed to be in the game anyway, so I don't care if Lucario just so happens to have more to do with X & Y's story than Mewtwo. Mewtwo was recently popular again in the anime cause it had a major role in last year's movie. Isn't that worth acknowledging? And as long as Mewtwo has a Mega Evolution and was previously in Smash Bros., there's just no excuse not to take advantage of that.

The difference being that Greninja and Lucario are both unique Pokémon, who are still unique enough to be their own character in the Smash games.
Even with Lucario resembling Mew Two, he's not an absolute clone, and I'd say he's arguably the more preferable option to use.
Funny thing is, they put Greninja in Smash before he was even available in Pokémon X, and he ended up being an immensely popular Pokémon in terms of a fan base, and competitive battling.
We already have one Generation 1 Pokémon in Smash, no need for another (excluding Pikachu). If this Generation were to get another Pokémon, the same would have to be applied to Generation 6 for fairness.
I can see you're passionate about you're Pokémon, don't change that.
But, it's not the end of the world.

I'm certainly not complaining because he's not Mewtwo. I mean, I still want Mewtwo in, but you'd better believe I'll be using Greninja a lot.
