Japanese light cruiser Agano after being converted into a seaplane carrier. This version of Agano certainly did not exist, but we can imagine it. After the defeat at Midway, Japan tried to make as many aircraft and seaplane carriers as possible. Of course, such changes could not bypass the light cruisers of the Agano class. To accommodate the seaplanes, two torpedo tubes and a turret with 152 mm guns had to be dismantled. In total, 5 Aichi E13A Jake seaplanes were placed on the deck. The cruiser received another catapult and a crane.
