Description
This one has been almost finished for quite some time. Finally I had the motivation to polish it a bit and make it ready for an upload.Hope you like it.
AoA SSS Shader for the girl and UE lights.
Rendered in Daz Studio 4.6, postwork in photoshop (color corrections and added frame and fixed some poke through)

How on earth is it possible that you make such a beautiful character with V4,
while I see so many (also on DA!) complete failures of that very same V4.
Truth is: I have V4, That is to say I have the zipped pro(?) bundle.
Got it the pirate way so to say.
Did not unzip it to Poser yet. Pfff. There is sΓ³Γ³ much in the bundle..
It seems like V4 will take over the whole Poser program.
Anyway, you may have pushed me over the edge, and one of these days I may install her.

Rendering is mainly about good lighting and shaders. If you fail in that, every model won't look good.
V4 is a good model when you tweak her a bit. Meaning you need one of the bending corrections that are available.Β Also using subd (meaning you get higher poly count by interpolation) and smoothing helps.
All this will increase render time a lot. But it is still fast compared to luxrender. Most of my renders take between 20 and 90 minutes in release resolution and release settings.
Test renders take between 10 and 25 minutes in full resolution but with less details.

Oh dear... That big numbers!
I use poser7, and I get the lights to do more or less what I want.
Shaders don't ring a bell. I can switch off / on the shade giving abbility of the lights,
and thats pretty much it.
Normally I have about 10 spots in a scene, and I have only 1 of them giving shades.
Thats saves rendertime.

I do nΓ³t have a topnotch PC at all, but a render(1024x768) takes my PC a minute or 2.
Hmmm. My guess (having read your writing), my puppet V2 is probably low -eh- density?; or low resolution.
Normally I use 2024x2024 skinmaps for a whole puppet-body.
