When both games are finished, I'm planning to move on to some more original works. One of them being something I've been wanting to make, a side-scrolling platformer.

Very neat. Great visuals and use of split screen to distinguish the two.

That... is ambitious. I haven't even made ninety characters yet, nevermind ninety that I'd consider as playable characters.
Hell, I've been shying away from having a party based game just because combat balancing is really daunting, which is part of why Lydia Story only has a one-character party, with an overpowered character who has a small moveset. Despite her being a powerful knight, it's more focused on the story, as the title implies. If I still have it in me to continue making games after Lydia Story, I'd intend to have a party system in Casino Grayleaf's adventure, where you'd be able to hire a band of generic mercenaries and bring three of them with you a la Dragon Quest III.
I'm a bit confused on what you mean by "constructed world".

Oh, Tales wasn't VX Ace? I'd just assumed it was.
My world also has a mix of fantasy and modern. Even in the ancient era, there are some very high tech things. There is a doctor who lived in a time very early on in the timeline named Letra Relse . He was an incredible prodigy who, among other things, discovered space flight in secret thousands and thousands of years before the rest of the world would have access to it. There are small pockets of science and a few modern cities in the world, even in the distant future, as the world resists leaving medieval sensibilities. It's mostly fantasy, but there are modern things like fast food and arcades even when most people are still living in old-fashioned kingdoms and villages.
There's a clear divide between the medieval era and the modern era, which happens at some point between the Platypus arc and the VanVoder arc , and it's symbolized by Skunk changing out her fantasy-style clothΒ poncho/cloak outfit Β for a more city-style cloth longcoat. Unfortunately, I'm not good at spritework and the built-in options in RPG Maker MV are severely limited, so neither of her outfits look anything like they're supposed to, so I just settled for what looked the coolest, but these are the outfits she's implied to wear.
When I moved on to MV, I was originally working on something I called "Project WanderGame". You can see some stuff here Β andΒ here Β if you like. But the project was over-ambitious, balancing the party and their abilities was a nightmare I was not ready for, and all four of the party members, not just Skunk, were character inserts of actual people, my partner and his siblings, and I felt really nervous about writing lines for characters who were based on real people, so I ended up putting it on the backburner in favor of Lydia Story. I still have the demos up, but they're not at all canon to the world I've been building for Shining Silver Starlight. I think if I was to resurrect the project at some point when I'm more confident with RPG Maker MV and storytelling, it will either be as a standalone story outside of the Shining Silver Starlight canon, or as one of the alternate realities that Lumstigethers sends Skunk to.
Casino Grayleaf's story was absolutely not one that I wanted to start with, as that story is intended to be a lot less straightforward and optimistic than Lydia VanVoder's, and Lydia and Lyle themselves don't exactly have the most fortunate personal lives themselves. Likewise, Lydia Arken's would be a really hard one to tackle, as much of it takes place underground in a world where hope is dead, and I think I need more experience with storytelling to do that one justice.
I love how you've been doing crossover stuff with a lot of popular franchises. That's a really smart approach. It gives you a lot more to work with, and has a lot more appeal to other people to have characters they already know and care about. I'm really just making games at all because I've been wanting to bring my own world and characters to life, but it means I have to do a lot of stuff from scratch, and it's a lot harder to make people care about characters they don't have any familiarity with. While I'm mostly making games purely for the story, I do enjoy customizing characters, leveling, grinding, collecting, and roguelike dungeon crawling, and I'd love to try making something more gameplay-oriented. You've managed to do both story and gameplay very well in Frontier Story.
To be honest, while I'm having an easier time bringing my ideas to life through game development than through drawing, I'm hoping to get better at drawing and tell the majority of my story through comics while supplementing the series with games, rather than the other way around.

Project Wandergame? That's interesting to learn about your previous work.
And thanks, the games are something I've been wanting to make for a long time. I can't help get giddy like a little kid now that I'm actually making them come true. Trying to balance both the gameplay and the story is quite the challenge, I'm glad that the guys who play Rakenzarn: Frontier Story like it.
I do hope you get more inspiration and improve your game project too. I'm still trying to find out how to play the MV games on my laptop without the breakdown. I definitely will try out your game when I get the chance. Keep up the good work, okay?

Thank you, you too.
It's exciting to see your own ideas come to fruition, isn't it? And not only that, being able to share them with others.
