She was bullied by her peers as long she could remember due to the fact that her late grandmother was rumored to be a witch who caused unexplained phenomenon. She had reached her breaking point when her bullies had cut her hair and scarred her face and left arm. Om So-Ri resorted to the dark arts she abhorred.
