I know, crappy title... and it's not even a torch! It's a candle!But anyway, more fun from high school pottery class!
This was for our candle holder project. It's a bit sloppy, I know, but it was also a bit difficult and I got quite frustrated while making it. Especially when his feet kept falling off. But I'm happy with the end results...
I think he's just fine with less color detail... I carved a flower into the hat, but that's not visible in the photos and barely visible in real life... The glaze did not allow it...
And that color is on purpose, too. Extra coats of glaze COULD have covered most of the clay's naturally fired color, but I like it how it is.
Um... not 100% on the category, so I chose one... If you have a better idea, let me know please.
The tiny font there may give credit, but I'll say it again...

Gustafa's supposed to be the most difficult of the three due to his shyness... He wasn't so hard for me either though... Maybe I was just way too determined!
Yeah... Rock is too easy... and Marlin... well, I like them both as friends, but he's too grumpy for a sensitive girl like me... I like the romantic type like Gustafa! ^^

I've actually managed to get all 3 to love me... (I think I told you about it.) I'm still playing that game too... The husband who got there first is the one I chose (and would choose over and over.) I found it really romantic that Gustafa came to my house at the end of the year to tell me he loves me and ask me to marry him instead of me asking...

Yeah, they all will. But Gustafa came, thankfully... I did an experiment recently, however, where I slept through the whole first year to see who would come, and I talked to Marlin and Gustafa once each, but Rock is the one who came to me... He's unromantic about it, though... He's just like "My parents want me to get a job and I think I can do that by living with you" or something like that... I got to see what happens if you don't marry at all!
