I wanted to try other styles of digital art in order to improve on my skills. This piece shows an illustration of Tekken's Jin Kazama in cel-shade style.I would like to thank for the PSD file on his method of cel-shading which you can find here [link] . The file was very good in helping me achieve the effect I wanted.
Tools:
- Paint tool SAI (lineart + colouring)
- Photoshop CS3 (shades, highlights, text etc.)

As for the face (sorry XD I was reading the comment below) I think the problem for me is that the eyes sit a little too far up on the forehead. They should be about halfway between the crown of the head and chin...
But overall it looks lovely^^

the pose and overall anatomy is very well done, as well as the lightning around his arms. Watch face anatomy though, there should be a quite big indention just above the cheekbone. Making that indention too small makes the face either look flat or feminine

I thank for your sincere advice. But I wonder, does the fact that it steers in the anime direction omit the need for the indention or will the indent improve on it even then?
There's been something bugging me for a while about the face since I made it, but I just can't tell what it is. You may be onto something there... Thanks
