Very nice, just the essence of the interaction.
A lot of people chide Snow White about the apple, but how was she to expect the first random person that comes to the cottage is her step-mom in disguise with a poisoned apple. And how many stories are there that have good things happen because you were kind to an ugly stranger, quite a few.

I just saw another one. They say that you really should be suspicious of a peddler working an area that couldn't possibly support them.
Come on, she's a 14 year old girl raised in a castle with lots of people bringing stuff, how on earth would she know how the economic imperatives of a peddler?
As far as we could tell, she didn't even have time (it looks like she was attacked the next day) to get out of the cottage to know anything about the neighborhood.
The expectation of near omniscience on her part is totally unrealistic.
