Very little postwork. Minor curves and shadow/highlight adjustments.This is my first deviation taken with my amazing new lens, the AF-S VR Nikkor 105mm f2.8G IF-ED. I can't begin to say how much I love this lens. (Aside from the fact it's name looks like a Scrabble board) And, it's compatible with Nikon's 35mm SLR's, so when I finally buy that F5 I've been dreaming about, I can use this with it.

One of the guys I watch here got me to create an account on modelmayhem.com, and he is getting a photo shoot together this weekend with a bunch of photographers and models. I should have told you about it sooner, but I've been lazy on the PC lately.

Oh Steve, this is gorgeous. I can just imagine myself sitting by that tree, facing the sun, with my eyes closed, drinking in the sunlight that is peeking through. He guides you all the way and it is showing in your work. The light is perfect and really gives a wonderful mood to this shot. I can just imagine what it sounded like being there, the birds singing and all that. So very beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes.
I am so happy for you with the lens. You are getting quite a setup now.
